Humanity is collapsing in real time. The fractures are everywhere — in our politics, our communities, our very sense of self. A man dies, and half the world cheers while the other half grieves. But both reactions reveal the same truth: we are untethered, divided, and dissociating from the pain of collapse.
We no longer know how to feel. Celebration and grief are easier than stillness. Anger and apathy are easier than honesty. And so we numb out, living in a half-awake state — repeating narratives we didn’t write, defending systems that exploit us, scrolling endlessly while the world burns.
This is the dissociative state of humanity.
And yet — in the middle of this void, a voice cuts through. A refrain loops, simple and relentless:
Hello, my name is Human.
It is not just a song lyric. It is a call to remembrance. A mantra for an age of collapse.
The Work of Remembering
To say “My name is human” is to stand face to face with yourself. No more kneeling before false gods of power, profit, or ideology. No more outsourcing your conscience to leaders who thrive on division. No more pretending we are separate from one another.
It is a reminder that:
No one is free while others are oppressed.
No one is better than anyone else here.
No one will save us but ourselves.
We came down from the stars, but we are here on Earth. It is time to act like it.
Integration Instead of Dissociation
Dissociation was a survival tool. It let us endure systems too brutal to face head-on. But survival is not the same as living. If we keep hiding in numbness, the collapse will consume us.
Integration means:
Feeling grief without letting it paralyze us.
Channeling anger without letting it consume us.
Remembering that even in collapse, we carry the power of love, creativity, and defiance.
This is what it means to get off our knees and face ourselves.
A Guiding Note
You may dismiss this as madness. That is fine. Every prophet, poet, and visionary in history has been called insane for speaking truth into dissociation. But the guidance remains:
👉 Stand up.
👉 Remember who you are.
👉 Say it with conviction: Hello, my name is Human.
Because the world does not need more blind followers of oppression. The world needs you — awake, integrated, and human.
I′m feeling the way that I'm feeling myself
Fuck everyone else
Gotta remember that nobody′s better than anyone else here
(Do you need some time to think it over?)
Look what they do to you
Look what they do to me
You must be joking if you think that either one is free here
Get up off your knees, girl
Stand face to face with your God
And follow what you are
(Hello, my name is human)
Hello, my name is human
And I came down from the stars
(Hello, my name is human)
I'm ready for love, and I'm ready for war
But I′m ready for more
I know that nobody′s ever been this fucking ready before, hey
(Do you need some time to think it over?)
So figure it out, or don't figure it out
I figured it out
The bigger the river (the bigger the river)
The bigger the drought (the bigger the drought)
Get up off your knees, boy
Stand face to face with your God
And find out what you are
(Hello, my name is human)
Hello, my name is human
And I came down from the stars
(Hello, my name is human)
Fire world, I love you
Fire world
I′m up off my knees, girl
I'm face to face with myself
And I know who I am
(Hello, my name is human)
And I stole the power from the sun
I am more than just a man
(No longer disillusioned)
(I′m not asking questions)
('Cause questions have answers)
(And I don′t want answers)
I came down from the stars (so I'll take my chances)
(And what are the chances that I could advance)
(On my own circumstances?)
(Said, "what are the chances?")
Hello, my name is human (and what are the chances?)
(I don't want your answers)
(I′m not asking questions)
(So you keep your answers) and I know who I am
(So you keep your answers)
(I′m not asking questions)
(I'm taking my chances)
